Last two weeks we have participated 2 great events, the first was on 9th Annual Fundraising Event for Leland High School; the second was a celebration for Chinese New Year at Sunnyvale. With the good performance of our team plus beautiful new lions from the good will of our kind parents and students, these shows were very successful. Sunnyvale 2010 Chinese New Year Celebration |

On February 6, 2010, we were invited by Chinese American Scouting Association for Chinese New Year Celebration at Sunnyvale. Thanks to the great participation of Ramsey, Jason, Philip, Mike, Shifu Cooper, Daniel and Ethan in this event. |

2010 Leland Bridge Night (9 th Annual Fundraising Event for Leland High School) |

With Chinese New Year coming, Shaolin Kungfu Zen was invited by Leland High School for Leland Bridge Night performance, which was an annual fundraising event. Master Xing leaded the Demo Team and Wushu Team students to perform Chinese Traditional Lion Dance and Kungfu Zen for opening ceremony. It was a great show published on the Almaden Valley Time Newspaper. We are proud of following participants: Shifu Xing, Shifu Cooper, Mike Jiang, Jason Rockhill, Erick Suarez, Lee Hsieh. |

On April 5, 2008, Shaolin Kungfu Zen’s students joined the 16th Annual UC Berkeley Chinese Martial Arts Tournament (CMAT16) to get three 1 st places, four 2 nd places, and two 3 rd places, this event is good competition for students who can perform and certify them level and get good experience.

On April 25, 2008, Shaolin Kungfu Zen accepted the invitation of Simonds School to performance Shaolin Kungfu for International Culture Festival, while about twenty students who have performed them highest level in this event. This performance was made exciting and happiness for everyone. We believe we can teach Chinese Wushu to cross cultural understanding between China and America.

On April 27, 2008, Shaolin Kungfu Zen’s Instructor accepted the invitation of Wisdom Culture & Education Organization to lecture for high-school students who will be a volunteer with summer camp of WCEO.

On May 12, 2008 the earthquake victims of Sichuan in China, Our Chinese so sad for this happened, Shaolin Kungfu Zen’s Master has supported cash donations for the fundraiser by CPAA. On May 24, 2008 Shaolin Kungfu Zen’s Master will support Kungfu performance for a fundraiser by Tiger Claw. We hope that this sad thing will be finished and build new home for those lost family’s people as soon as possible.
