Kungfu has been challenging. Some of this is pushing through past injury and doing the best that I can do.
My senior year in college I blew my knee out doing gymnastics. This was an extremely severe career ending injury multiple surgeries and years of recovery.
I want to share my story of pushing through and recovering.
The idea is to do the best you can... each person has their own level and capability. This is about pushing yourself and being proud of what you can do.
I will share gratitude to the coaches for being patient with me. I will call out my son Ethan who begged me to join Kungfu and got me started. Also, I give thanks to my older brother Andrew who helped me train on weekends and encouraged me put in the extra work.
