My name is Ria Bhargava and I am a Junior at Leland High School. I love hiking and being outside. I am really excited to take this black belt test.
Over the years, Kungfu has really helped me in many ways. I have learned to think fast and that you can accomplish anything. I have developed a positive view of life where I push for things I care about and try to accomplish my challenges.
How did Kungfu benefit in your overall life?
Over the years, Kungfu has really helped me in many ways. I have learned to think fast and that if you try with your best effort, you can accomplish anything. I have developed a positive view of life, where I push for the things I care about and try to accomplish my challenges. I also have become more understanding of my friends, I always greet them with a smile. Kungfu has ultimately taught me to speak for myself and my values.
Thoughts on your own performance?
I thought my performance was good. I tried the hardest I could on the parts of the test I could do.
Explain how you were feeling before, during and after the test.
Before, I was nervous and excited. Overall, I think I did the best I could do, although there were some parts of the test that I had to skip. In the start of the test I was a little nervous, so I practiced a lot with my brother. I think that helped be become better during the test. Now the test is over, I am satisfied and I think my hard work paid off.
