SKZ 13th Generation Black Belt Advancement Test (2nd Group)
This is the 2022 Second Black Belt Testing Group. Normally Black Belt tests take place roughly once a year. This year due to a large number of high-level students reaching end of their belt level curriculum and students stockpiling due to COVID-19, we have had to hold multiple black belt tests in one year. As a result, this is the 2nd group testing as a part of the 13th generation black belt advancements. Regardless, everyone has worked hard, and we would like to acknowledge their hard work and achievements for this upcoming belt test.
This group will have 5 members participating. Ocean Fleskes, Testing for his 1st degree black belt. Vandan Patel testing for his 2nd degree black belt. Justin Lai, testing for his 2nd degree black belt. Leonardo Price, testing for his 4th degree black belt.
This group will include one student who will have reached top level of our main curriculum. As there are multiple degrees of black belt, the highest level that any person can reach throughout normal means is 4th degree. Beyond the 4th degree, community-based contributions and achievements must be done. As Leonardo is going to be the first student to reach 4th degree, we would like to give him a large congratulations for his achievement of staying persistent throughout his time in SKZ. His devotion to SKZ is a great achievement and will go on in history as the first student to reach this level.
