Daniel Xu currently attends Leland High School and is an outgoing and patient individual. He has trained in Taekwondo for 6 years and received a black belt before switching to Kungfu. With a passion for teaching and guidance, he greatly enjoys helping students on their forms and mindset. He gains a strong sense of satisfaction when others are able to achieve greater success in their Kungfu journey under his care. While the path of martial arts may be an arduous one that requires hard work and dedication, he understands the importance of acknowledging the students for their endurance and effort; thus, he enjoys guiding fellow students under the basis of recognizing them for their positive aspects. He also teaches with the intent of constructing a communal feeling of teamwork and mutual collective bonding.
Sarah Vinoth,
Daniel is a very good TA in my perspective. He is nice and he knows my name. He works well with lower levels, and he is very patient with us. He never yells at us and never raises his voice at us. He is always willing to help us. Some things Daniel can improve on is being at the start of the class so he can help us more. Also, he can be stricter with us (credit to Kathy for the last statement).
Pragya Viswanathan,
Daniel is very helpful. It is easy to learn from him. He knows what he is doing. Daniel tells us what is wrong with our movements in detail that makes it easy to follow and understand. He helps you without you needing to ask. It is easy to approach him. Daniel is a very good TA.
Kathy Chen,
In my opinion, Daniel is a good TA. He does really well with directing the students in what to do and what to improve. He helps to encourage the students and is very nice, patient, and helpful. Something he could improve on is to try to be a little stricter with us when we practice. This is because sometimes I see the people in his group messing around or not doing what they are supposed to be doing. Overall, he’s a pretty good TA.
